I was a Childcare site Director for the San Gabriel Valley YMCA for almost two years. I had about 40 kids, ages 5-11 years old, and we helped each student with homework, provided snack, and had fun activities for the children which included cooking, making things, science projects and other creative activities. I was also a Teacher for the San Gabriel Valley YMCA for 2 years and I assisted the Director as well as the students. I helped students with their assignments, projects, and reading. I also helped them with the activities as well as having fun with them with the activities. I completely love being around children because I feel that they are teaching us many things and they say the craziest but funniest things. I also have a 2 1/5-year-old boy who I completely love, he's smart and very energetic. He needs to be doing something at all times otherwise he will get bored easily. He likes it when I read to him and play with him especially with building blocks. I have no complaints working with children because there is no reason to complain about having fun! :]
