I am a mother of five wonderful children and a grandmother of two. I understand the integrity of raising children with important values and the security of knowing the best person partaking in balance with your care as a parent. I have worked with children and youth for over nine years in youth ministry. I am very active in programs such as Big brother Big Sister and Yeah INC. as a mentor for teen girls. I have a non-profit organization working with inner-city children; teaching life application, life skills, creative arts and self-esteem etc. I have cared for several children from birth and older for friends and family. I have a great passion to see them develop over time knowing they have been nurtured and loved to meet the family expectations. I am a trustworthy person and children tend to love me. I currently work as a houseparent at a children's home providing care and nurturing for those in need of love and a home life setting. Running the home is a daily routine that requires structure with organization such as; cooking daily meals, housekeeping, running doctor appointments, teaching daily life skills, interventions, discipline, manners, documentation and other facets. I have been doing this consistently for two years gaining the experience to work in a childcare career. I am trained in CPR, First Aid, bloodbourne pathogens, medical administration, drivers safety training and many parenting classes.
