This nanny worked for me about 3 weeks. She is punctual and reliable, but has a lot of room for improvement. Here is what I did not like about her: - She does not follow or take instructions well. She did not want to follow my instructions and seemed uncomfortable when I asked her to do something. Constructive criticism bothers her an puts her on defense. - She has a very strong opinion on how to care for a baby, therefore she consistently criticized the way I wanted to do things and challenged my orders. As a first time mother, I felt horrible that my caregiver will not raise my baby the way I want to. I value people's opinion, but she had criticism for me every single day. Example: She does not agree with putting sunblock to babies when they go outside. I wanted her to do that. - She was on the phone when my baby was awake. When I asked her not to do that she got very defensive. Note: 2 different references of her have mentioned the problem with the phone and with her being so critical of the mothers.
