I am a proactive person. I am a very careful and loving child caregiver, a proud mother of two children, ages 19 and 25. I have a sweet 5-year-old granddaughter. My main concern is giving children attention, love and care of quality. For two years, I helped with a club group in Colombia where my two children used to participate, in which I enjoyed every activity with children ages 4 to 16-years-old, including camping, playing, exercising, swimming, etc. Besides that, I took care of my granddaughter for the first two months of her life. Actually I am nannying a 2-year old boy on a part time basis during the week and on Fridays, I babysit for two girls ages 4 and 2 years old. Also, I occasionally sit for other families with 3 children each, (ages 4 to 10). Since 2007, I assisted a family with a 3-year-old girl, and another family by taking their teen daughter from and to school and doctor appointments for more than two years. As a child care provider, I find it interesting and challenging to be part of the development of a child's life, giving him/her the basic knowledge for a successful interaction with the world, while making them feel comfortable, loved, confident and respected. I have been in contact with children for more than five years, since I had my own business providing meals to daycare institutions in Colombia, and helping in group activities. I love newborns, as well as children of all ages. I can help with homework, taking children to any activities, going shopping, or running errands if needed, Also I speak Spanish and can teach it.
