I have had the pleasure to work with children ranging from newborn through the toddler years. Children in this age group go through so many milestones in such a short time of their lives, it is so crucial for them to have someone guide them through every little and big accomplishment. Many of the activities I enjoy doing with kids is going for walks, the park, play-dates, trips to the zoo / museums, reading, coloring and learning a little bit of Spanish! I love to cook and always try to make fresh meals that incorporate a fruit and veggie but also try to make it fun and enjoyable for the kids. Having a strong communication with parents is very essential in being a nanny among the many others. Having lots of energy, patience, a big bright smile, and the ability to think on your feet are very important tools necessary when it comes to caring for children. I believe I have those qualities and a little more. Kids learn from others, and it is more than encouraging to try new things and be confident in showing initiative if the children see it from the person who is caring for them. I love what I do and certainly am very excited to being a long-term commitment to the right family!
