Wilza interviewed well over the phone and in person. She seemed knowledgeable, sociable and mature. However, I as our interview experience progressed, I found her to be irresponsible. The third step of the interview process was a sit down dinner in my home so that Wilza could meet my children and husband. Wilza cancelled on this dinner three times. The third time she cancelled twenty minutes before she was supposed to arrive at my house. I found this to be very rude as I planned my entire day around her arriving at my home for dinner that evening. Her excuse was that there was too much traffic so she went home. Obviously, this makes no sense as traffic makes you late, it doesn't keep you from arriving. To add insult to injury, she didn't even call me to cancel; instead she messaged me through care.com. Furthermore, after receiving her message stating that there was traffic and asking if we could postpone, I called her and she said that she was on her way back home. I think she was lying because I heard her children speaking in the background. I found this behavior to be inexcusable and stopped the interview process for fear that "traffic" would keep her from getting to my house if hired.
