I grew up surrounded by a large extended family and was accustomed to caring for small children from an early age. I have experience caring for children from 6 months to 12 years old, as well as experience caring for a special needs child.

At the age of 15 I began babysitting for a family in my neighborhood with two small children, ages 18 months and 3 years old, and continued caring for their children regularly for 6 years until I relocated for college. It was very fulfilling, even at a young age, to be able to watch these children grow and learn. I'm glad I was a part of their formative years and still keep in contact with the family.

I promote fun activities that allow children to express their creativity and gain a sense of accomplishment, while downplaying TV time. Most of my fondest memories are of the adventures I had playing outside as a child and I want the same experience for all children I care for.
