Hi everyone. There is some confusion regarding my availability chart. I am not available at this time, however please do say hello and establish contact since schedules can change at any time.

I have cared for children professionally since 1985. I began as a "vacation nanny" (Mom and Dad go to Belize, the Caribbean, for a much needed weekend getaway) and I take care of the house and the children.

I have been a nanny for families ranging in size from 1 child to 7 children. I have been a nanny for a family of six for three years; for working moms with night jobs; for newborns overnight while mom slept; and for seniors, round the clock, who needed errands, showers, medications, injections, and paperwork handled. Even the seniors lovingly refer to me as "their nanny." People begin with one, two, or three caregivers on their team, and within a week or two ask me if I can stay full time. I am going to say that the reason why is this: I am incredibly reliable, I have beyond average competence in a variety of situations, and I am a "FANAFI" ... I "Find A Need And Fill It". I don't wait to be asked. When serious situations arise (such as the sudden turn of health for the senior I cared for through his death) and solutions need to be put in place immediately, I'm the one who stays calm and handles the details, all the while "keeping it light" despite the gravity of the situation. I am incredibly calm and easygoing.

I have great references and am one of the most trustworthy and capable people you will ever meet. I am a credentialed teacher, paraprofessional speech therapist, and mother of four. I get what it's like to want someone capable, reliable and fun to watch after your kids.
