I have been a stay-at-home mother for the past 23 years, having lovingly raised three children (ages 24, 21 and 17.) Although I have worked both professionally and part-time for several companies, I found that caring for my children and others has always been the job which I loved the most. At this time, my children are grown, college expenses have begun to creep in, and my availability day to day has increased.

I currently care for a wonderful little boy who I adore, in the home of a family in Keller. I have been working for the same family since their son was 6 months old. He is now 2. I have loved watching him grow. Our time and the day to day care has changed as he has gotten older. As an infant we spent our days primarily at home. I loved caring for him and watching him grow and reach new milestones daily. At this time we are able to enjoy time reading, going for walks, playing at the playground, going to the library, and enjoying playtime with other children. I have been happy to be very flexible with the hours that I provide to the family due to their work schedules continually changing. Both parents are emergency room doctors.

Unfortunately, due to the family's changing work schedule, and an upcoming maternity leave they are not able to provide me with a minimum of 20 hours of work each week. They are also uncertain what their needs will be in the future. This has forced me to pursue new employment. I am confident that they will be willing to provide a excellent reference to future employers.

I recognize how important it is to find the right person to care for your children. If you are interested in finding a experienced, loving, energetic, responsible, and mature caregiver, with years of experience raising her own children, I would be an ideal fit. My preference would be to care for a newborn, or children under the age of 24 months, 3 days per week.
