As the oldest of 4 children (ranging from ages 3 years to 20 years old). I have been around kids of all ages, at all stages of my life! Not only have I cared for my own siblings, I have also been a steady babysitter for many families in my neighborhood and family friends.

For 4 years, I babysat twins that were 6 months old, along with their two brothers that were 7 years and 12 years old (when I started). Also, I have watched children overnight, at the pool, and have been responsible for taking them to their daily activities. Most recently, I was a nanny for a family of 2 children (ages 2 and 4) while the were on summer break (June 2012-September 2012). I am a very comforting, easy to be around person. I appreciate kids and being around them is something I really enjoy.

I believe this helps me to communicate with children because I am willing to listen and understand what they want. I am family-oriented, and gravitate naturally to little ones. Since I have been babysitting, starting at the age of 13 years old, I have had to deal with many situations in that amount of time. I am able to handle stressful situations with a calm attitude and this helps to keep the kids calm that I am attending to. I am fun, energetic, and love to really interact with the children. I have had experience with children ages 3 months old to 12 years old. My most recent job was a summer nanny for 2 children, full-time.
