I am currently a nanny for a family of three children aged 7months, 5 and 9 years old. I am also a Certified Personal Care Assistant for 9 years. I have been a licensed home daycare provider for 17+ years. I care for infants through middle school aged children and teenagers and adults under PCA certificate and some previously with mild to moderate special needs. As a nanny I have been responsible for as many as three children in one family. My duties included meal preparation, activities for the children indoor and outdoor, receiving school-aged children home and helping with homework, giving snack, supervising children's chores and doing light housework and some laundry. I have previously done before and after school drop-off, pick-up and receiving toddlers and school-aged students from after school programs. As a Personal Care Assistant I have done all the aforementioned as well as general housekeeping, laundry, grocery shopping, banking, accompanied to doctors appointments and entire meal preparation. Most often client provided own transportation for me to drive. I love caring for children and do so in a fun, loving and nurturing way. It is my philosophy as a caregiver to provide care for children in a manner that mirrors the parents philosophy and style and to create an environment where the children can feel safe and nurtured.
