Let me start by saying I love children. I have been caring for children and assisting families for over 20 years as a nanny. I also worked with adults and children with learning disabilities such as ADD, ADHD, Asperger's, dementia, and early Alzheimer's. While I very much enjoyed a diverse position, my real passion does come from one-on-one assistance with children and their families. I am looking for a position where I can become an uplifting, helpful, and positive influence on a family. I am very neat, organized, and punctual. I enjoy being outside and stay active with Zumba five times a week. I also enjoy arts and crafts, swimming, and bike riding. I believe some of the most amazing and rewarding aspects about caring for children is their sense of wonder in everything around them. Experiencing that with them, and teaching them is very gratifying. I was fortunate enough as a child to have a couple of people come into my life who inspired me, influenced my education, and helped enhance my self confidence. It is my goal to do the same for the children who are in my care.
