Then, just about 5 years ago, I moved and put out fliers asking if someone needed a babysitter. One couple took me up on the offer, so I watched their first kid every once in awhile. They liked and trusted me so much that now I also watch their second child. Sometimes I mostly watch the littlest one by herself, but there are some times I do watch them together.
I have been on Care.com for about 4 years and I work with about 5-10 families with all different ages of children, from infants to 12 years old.
I love children and ever since I was little I have always wanted a lot of kids. It's so rewarding when you know the child loves you and loves when you come over to watch them because they trust you. I am going to go to school to be an elementary school teacher and/or preschool teacher, so this would be good experience.
