I have been a licensed Family Day Care Provider for 13 years. I am licensed for eight children but I keep my enrollment to four children at a time. This would be two infants and two toddlers. I love taking care of children. I especially love taking care of infants and toddlers because these are the most formative years and you want to make sure they have a safe, loving, caring and nurturing environment for the growth and development. I am very attentive to the needs of children in my care. I work with the parents as to the needs of the child. I have two children of my own and I wanted to be home with them so I decide to help other families who were not able to stay with their children. Even though they are older now I still want to continue to care for young children because it bring me much joy and satisfaction in knowing that I am helping others. I have a medical background, CPR and First Aid Training for Adults/Infants/Children, 90 Hours Young Child: Growth and Development, and SID Training. Home is inspected yearly by the Fire Department. State inspection announced and unannounced visits. Required to take Continuing Education 12 hours/per year in child related issues. This is a spoke free environment.
