Hello! I'm Vanessa and I absolutely love children! I have been babysitting for more than 10 years and I have helped care for my sister and cousins since I was 11. I have also helped to lead my church's K-12 youth groups and the infant care during church services. I had the privilege of being a nanny for a little boy for a year (5-17 months) but he is now in school to socialize and learn with other children. Working with him and his family was a great experience and I truly loved it.

I am currently working at a stuffed animal retail shop and have been for 5 years. Although I do want to find a nanny job, I also want to be able to continue working there at least until after Christmas since it is our busiest time. After that I can change my availability to whatever is needed. I am open to a full-time position if the right one came along but I would like to find something part-time at least until 2013.

One last thing, although I am very comfortable with dogs, I am very allergic to cats.
