Vanessa is an excellent addition to any family. She is reliable and has also come to sit on the occasional short notice call, as well as her scheduled hours. She helps the kids with their homework, lends an ear when they need someone to talk to. My oldest is now 11 and Vanessa was wonderful at helping her feel better about different things. As parents know, things a parent could never understand. I have never seen her without a smile on her face. My children are 11, 9, and 4. She knew that each one had different needs for each age and she was able to adapt accordingly. The only reason we are not using her as a sitter now, is that our circumstances changed. I have recommended her to friends. One has used her as a sitter a few times and he has had nothing but great things to say about her. She volunteers at the DuPage animal shelter during her free time. My daughters and I do that as well. Whenever we bump into her there, the girls run up and give her a big hug. That in itself should be a sufficient endorsement. My recommendation is to grab her up before someone else does!

Vanessa has been a great sitter for my kids, ages 9 and 11. She is very conscientious and reliable, always ready for them after school. Vanessa helps with snacks and homework, and is a kind listener for their stories and concerns. She always leaves my house looking nicer than I left it, and does it all with a smile. I appreciate her flexibility and can-do attitude, especially with ever-changing schedules and after-school activities. She is a sitter you can count on!
