I have earned a degree in child development and family studies from the University of North Texas. I have worked for more than 300 hours with children as a volunteer and practicum student at a Cook Children's Medical Center. As a volunteer and practicum student, I have provided therapeutic activities to patients and siblings. I have provided education and support to the families as well. This summer, I worked as a camp counselor for children with Sickle Cell Anemia through camp. Last year, I volunteered as an assistant teacher for 30 hours at the UNT Child Development Lab with healthy children from 3 to 4 years of age. I am currently CPR/AED certified. I enjoy working with children of all ages.
