After I graduated high school, I signed up to be an in home care worker. Being paid by the county duties to care for my brother included: preparing his meals, getting him ready for school, keeping up his general hygiene and whatever else he needed at any particular time....

Growing up I helped my parents care for my autistic brother who was three years my younger. This experience taught me patience and compassion. After I graduated high school, I signed up to be an in home care worker. Being paid by the county duties to care for my brother included: preparing his meals, getting him ready for school, keeping up his general hygiene and whatever else he needed at any particular time. In 2004 my cousin needed help with her newborn, at first when she just needed a break and later that year when she picked up a full-time job. I took care of that baby up until she was 18-months old, when her family had to move out of state. I bathed my little cousin (sponge bath, sink bath), fed her bottles and as she got older fed her baby food until she could eat her meals with the rest of us. I have always had an affinity for children and look forward to using my life experience toward any service and assistance you might need.
