I have 13 years of babysitting experience.
I have been a stay-at-home mom for 3 years. I have one beautiful daughter, age 4 1/2. From the time I was 11 to 14, I watched three children from ages 3 months to 7 years, 2 of which were deaf and had other special needs. I am fluent in ASL (American Sign Language) and worked at Missouri School for the Deaf with 6 boys ages 5 to 10 for a year and a half. I watched my daughter with 4 other children in our home for a year. I also worked in a deaf group home with older clients with a range of special needs. I am certified in CPR and First Aid. My daughter and I love to play outside and do projects and arts and crafts. I went to college for 2 1/2 years before I took a break to raise my daughter full-time. I plan to go back in the fall of 2012 to study special education and early childhood education. I really enjoy taking care of children and helping them grow into their personalities.
