Hello, my name is Twana. I am presently in school pursuing a second career. I am returning to work in the in-home childcare industry after some years on hiatus. I worked for 5 years full time as a nanny, and for 4 years babysitting newborns, infants, toddlers, twins, preschoolers, elementary aged kids and high school kids. I have also worked as a mommy's helper and court appointed chaperone for parent supervised visitations. I also raised two children of my own, who are now 20 and 23 years old. Since returning to school, I have taken human development courses that have helped me understand the psychology of children even more. Working in-home childcare gives me flexibility to make my own schedule for work and class. I am an active person, a conscientious worker, and love interacting with children of all ages.
