I am currently a substitute teacher and taught middle school for 9 years prior to that. I have experience working with special needs children.

I have worked as a child care provider, duties including: babysitting, preparing meals, errands, household chores, dog-sitting, laundry, cleaning, bill paying and other miscellaneous tasks. I have also been a home-bound teacher and tutor. I am relocating to Grand Rapids after securing a full-time job there. I can move with little notice. My willingness to travel from home would be based on the location of my Grand Rapids apartment, location undetermined. My hourly rate would be based on my extensive experience, applicable background and the potential cost of out-of-pocket medical insurance.

The number of children I would be comfortable being responsible for would vary depending on the circumstances.

My availability would vary outside of the school day. I have a 7-year-old son and may rarely have to bring him with me. He is very mature, respectful and gets along well with other children. I could be flexible with time outside of school-day hours, including summer months, early mornings, late evenings or weekends.
