I love taking care of children and watching them grow and learn.
I raised my three children as a single parent and was always active in their lives, including coaching my daughters for 11 years from youth through high school. I have performed babysitting service for different families over the years, having started when I was a teenager, and returning to child care several years ago. I was a full-time nanny/baby-sitter for three children in Ridgfield from 2005-2006. Along with watching the children, I helped with the housework and pets. I house-sat and pet-sat while they were away. When they moved to Texas in 2006, I drove their car and two pets down there for them.
I was the nanny for a 4-year-old boy, in Redding who entered Kindergarten last fall in the extended day program, and I sadly had to say goodbye to him.
Since October 2012, I have been with a family in Ridgefield, taking care of a 5-year-old girl, after school.
I truly enjoy being around children, encouraging them with reading, art, music and play. Though I do not have a college education, I consider myself a well educated woman, always looking to learn new things.
