I have been working with children for the last 10 years in many different avenues. I began by teaching swimming lessons to kids at meadow brook when I was about 14. Since then I have worked doing occasional babysitting while in high school and in college, and I also worked as a full-time nanny for a few summers while I was in college. I then moved to D. C. where I worked for a non-profit mental health agency. I worked with adults and children diagnosed with many different mental illnesses including emotional disturbances, ADD, ADHD and many more. I am now attending graduate school at Loyola University in psychology, with hopes of becoming a child psychologist in the near future! I love kids and am very flexible with my time so I figured it would be a perfect way to supplement my schooling!
