I am the oldest of five children. I took care of my siblings as young as 9 yrs old. My mother would go on trips when I was 12 yrs old, which is not heard of these days. I always took care of them; they were really my babies and I am proud to say I enjoyed every minute of it. Of course as a mom, I would have never done that. I married very young for 37 yrs had three children, one is 38 a girl, 30 a boy, and yes one 14yrs, he was a blessing from God. I always say God intended on me being room mom and grade rep my whole life. I loved being at school to support my children in every way possible and now I have a grand daughter, 6, so I am back at school again to support her as well. My daughter worked at a Plano school for autism. I would go to the school and meet the ones she took care of. We became close. The school closed, so needing help, I took care of two of them, one verbal, one not. They are very precious to me; they are very loving if they know they can trust you and they know you accept them for who they are, which is very easy for me. I now have worked with a boy for two yrs; he is non verbal and abusive to himself and to others at times so I have to always be on my toes. He is now 17 yrs of age. I have also taken care of my grandparents which as you know when they are getting older they are children themselves. They moved into my home and took care of them until they passed on and I am so thankful I could do that. I am just a very nurturing person and that was God's plan for me and I am proud He chose me. One thing I am so proud of as a mom is my children have big hearts and are kind to everyone. That lets me know I have done a pretty good job. And my daughter is the best mom I have ever seen; I am so very proud. And my 14yr old has a nurturing way with special needs kids at school. The teachers have told me some awesome stories. My oldest son is so kind also. My hourly pay has been 25 hr but for 25 hrs a week. Now it was reduced to 20. I am working for the state of Texas so I have background checks and CPR training also for babies. I am willing to reduce my pay to 15 a hr if there was more hrs involved. I live in The Colony close to 121 so I have easy access. I am easy going, laid back, and love life. It would be my gift to be able to take care of your child or children.
