Hi, my name is Toni M. and I'm a graduate from Bear River High School. I'm currently attending Sierra College to receive an associates degree in psychology. After I receive my associates degree I would like to transfer to a four year university. I'm interested in following a career in nursing or law enforcement. While attending college, I would like to have a part-time job in babysitting. In the past I have done child care for a couple with a newborn and a 3-year-old. I've also done a lot of child care within my family. I've baby sat a variety of my cousins. In school, I was a part of a program called Health Careers. I spent a lot of time learning and caring for the sick in the hospital. Through this program I've also received my basic CPR license. I took all the classes and learned the skills to be a health care provider. In addition, through school I was a mentor for younger students. The program was called Nevada County Friday Night Live Mentoring. This program helped young students prepare for their futures when they get into high school. With all this experience I feel that I have the ability to be caring and responsible towards children.
