From freshman to senior year in high school, I volunteered at a day care center down the road from my boarding school for at least a trimester each year. These children ranged from newborns to 4 and 5-year-old children. I was also a camp counselor/teachers assistant at a museum day camp where I primarily worked with 5 to 8-year-old children. I worked at the camp 8 hours a day and the program was concluded after a month. I also have experience with tutoring. I have worked with elementary school children with math, English, social studies, art, and even Spanish. I also have assisted in a kindergarten classroom for a trimester (cleaning and assisting children).

All jobs except the position held at the museum were volunteer work.
