I used to own my own child care for 8 years. I started 2001 in MI. and moved to Ga. to continue providing quality care for children. My home childcare was full of love for children, but in 2008, recession hit, a lot of my parents lost their jobs, and it got too hard for me to keep it open, because children were leaving faster than I could enroll them in, so I loss my home because of not having the financial funds to keep it going. Oh how I miss caring for children. I was registered also through the state of Ga. I cared for up to 12 or more children, but not all at once. There was daily curriculum, with indoor and outdoor play, 3 healthy meals and snacks, including nap time, I was open 24 hours, and now I'm unemployed and looking to get back into my profession of caring for children.
