I used to babysit 3 children when I was 16 years old, a 1, 2, and 4-year-old while the mother was doing errands or housework. I also used to go and help out at the daycare my mother worked at for about 6 years. Then I recently ended up working there as a teacher's aide for about 5 months, in the toddler's room and pre-k classroom. I would help the teacher with preparing snack and lunch, do circle time with them, which was teaching them shapes, colors, etc. I'd teach them how to clean up the toys after playing with them. I would help them get ready for nap time, clean up and make sure everything was tidied up. I especially made sure they were always happy and learning new things everyday. I enjoyed every moment playing and laughing with the children.
