I have worked at 3 daycare centers, I have a 3 1/2-year-old son, and I like to provide care that parents can feel comfortable with when they're away from their children. I don't try to be their parents, but I try to give them someone they can trust and relate to, someone they feel comfortable with, and someone they know will take care of and look out for them while their parents are away. I usually set up about the same routine as a daycare center, but not as strict, and more warm and caring.
