I have completed numerous hours in the child development course. Upon completing high school in 2004, I have worked with children, ages 2-months-old up to 6-years-old. I have worked for the Youth Center on the Naval Air Station Patuxent River, MD. While working with the youth center we would create hands-on age-appropriate activities for learning and development, and our mission was to provide a safe, warm, and nurturing environment for the children. As of October 2010, I was laid off from my office job at the Navy Recreation in Solomons, MD due to the lack of work. Since being laid off, I have had the opportunity to work as a bus aide. We work with all ethnic groups and children with autism. During that period in time I have learned a lot. I have two young children, both little girls, whom I love and adore, and I would treat anyone's kids whom are in my care the same way.
