Hi! My name is Tiffany and I am 27 years old. I graduated from Bridgewater State University with Bachelor's degrees in both Early Childhood Education and Psychology. I am a licensed teacher at the PreK through second grade level. I spent my adolescence babysitting my brother and his friends as well other neighborhood kids, and the majority of my adult life working around and caring for children of all ages.

My first job was at a company daycare center. The center cared for children between the ages of two months and five years. I worked as an assistant teacher there for a summer. While I was there I spent the majority of my time in the infant room but I did have the opportunity to spend time in each of the other classrooms as well.

While in school, I worked for both the Picture People and Sears Portrait Studio's for a combined total of 4 years. While there I worked as a photographer. I dealt with children of all ages, entertaining them at all points the photography session.

I additionally spent two summers as a nanny for twin boys. I watched them the summers after first and second grade and we did all kinds of fun things go to the beach, going mini-golfing or even going bowing on rainy days.


I also substitute taught at the Chandler Elementary School in Duxbury, MA for two years. In that time I had I had the privilege of working one-on-one with an autistic student for a few months of the year. I planned the lessons I did with him, took him to specialists, and got to see him ride the school bus for the very first time.

In the future, I would like to have a classroom of my own, which would feature a child-centered learning approach. No two children learn the same way and by allowing students to be hands-on and discovers things in their own ways, not only makes learning easier, it makes it enjoyable as well.
