I was a nanny to 3 kids for 4 years, ages 2, 4, and 6. I would prepare healthy meals for them, help with homework, and do activities with them. I also picked them up from school, and did light cleaning. I have taken several classes throughout high school on child development and childcare occupations. I am a college student at Anoka Ramsey Community College working online on my associate of arts and then moving on to my bachelor's. I plan on majoring in education and minoring in special education and communication. I have done over 100 of hours of field studies in elementary schools and preschools. I would interact with the students, observe, and analyze how they would communicate. I also assisted the teacher with daily activities. I have had experience in a preschool, coming up with curriculum for the kids. I also am first aid and CPR certified. In the past I worked at a school with children with emotional and behavioral disorders and currently am a nanny for 2 boys ages 3 and 1. The 3-year-old has autism. My responsibilities currently are to plan and implement activities, plan and cook meals, and light housekeeping. I am passionate about what I do because children inspire me to become a better educator and person overall every day!
