I am a Preschool Teacher and former K-5 Teacher Assistant. I have been around children all my life. I have two grown daughters. I earned my Early Childhood Credentials in California and I have worked in daycare centers in Hawaii, California and South Carolina. As a Preschool Teacher, I planned and implemented age appropriate activities for children ages newborn to 12 years old. While living in NC, I worked as a part-time Nanny and I assisted with care of the children on daily family life activities. I changed diapers, bathed children, prepared simple meals, drove children to/from activities, stayed overnight, helped with homework assignments, planned age appropriate activities, and took children to outings (movies, swimming, library, amusement park, playgroup, etc.). I ran errands, did grocery shopping and light housekeeping. I love children and spending quality time with them is my priority. A child's mind must be occupied with exciting and creative activities, so TV is always off when I am around. Puzzles, Legos, play dough, coloring, pretend play, reading, board game, etc. are some of the activities I like to engage children with. Open communication with the parents is the key to gain trust.
