I studied Early Childhood Education and currently have a CDA. I also possess skills in the legal field. I am also comfortable caring for children with special needs. I have over 18 years of experience caring for infants or young children including newborns. I am compassionate, detailed and very organized. I believe in allowing children the opportunity to develop their individual creativity and unique self. I think it is important to help children to develop their social, emotional and sensory skills through play, the arts and craft. Hence, I am not a strong supporter of television and technological gadgets. I enjoy reading to children and engaging them in conversations. I do everything for the children I care for just like their mothers would. Meal and nap time are critical for a young child so I normally implement a schedule and prepare healthy meals and snacks. I treat the families I work for as my own, with respect and love.
