I am a young grandmother (MiMi) to 2 young grandsons (ages 3 1/2 and 1 1/2 years) and an auntie to 2 wonderful nephews, ages 9 and 15 years old here in Florida. In addition to caring for all 4 of the boys as they were infants and growing up, I have several decades experience caring for children of all ages (mostly aged 10 and younger). I enjoy interacting with children by reading to them, watching movies or television with them, and going outside to play. I am a firm believer in well-behaved and respectful children. (I raised my daughter that way and she has become an amazing woman and mother because of it!) I am alcohol, tobacco, and drug free. If you have dogs or cats, I am okay with that so long as your home is mostly allergen free. I do take Claritin on a regular basis as I live with 2 dogs and a cat.

I am mature, dependable, hard working, kind, caring, honest, and conscientious with a clean and safe driving record. I have chosen to focus my job search on babysitting/nanny/housekeeping/pet sitting as I am having difficulty finding employment in today's corporate world. (I recently lost a 12 year position due to a permanent reduction in force.) I need a steady and reliable means of income with some flexibility as I am currently renting a room from my children.
