I am a caring, loving mother of three grown children and eight grandchildren. I have always loved children, and even though I had training to work outside of the home, I felt my most important job, while my children were growing up, was the care and teaching of them. I was very blessed to be able to stay home doing that most of the years my children were growing up. I was involved in their lives and their activities in every capacity, including volunteering at school, taking and picking them up, their extra-curricular activities, etc. Two of my children, along with seven grandchildren live too far away for me to now be able to enjoy them and their activities on a regular basis, which I miss greatly.

After my children grew up, I owned and operated a Clear Lake area retail business and a hair salon. I closed it in it's 25th year of business, due to a mass national chain store competition opening very near my business, finally making it impossible for me to compete. I have been happily married for almost 46 years, and now am home full-time, and would love the opportunity to interact with children again, be able to relieve some of the stress for loving parents, and supplement my stay.
