I spent many years babysitting. I worked for 11 years in the infant-toddler room at church. I worked at a day care center for 4 years then spent 30 years at the Oregon School for the Blind. I retired young when the school was closed by the legislature. I have my bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education but I have let my license expire. I have suctioned tracs, used SIDs monitors, have experience with orthopedic braces-walkers-wheelchairs, hearing aids, visual impaired devices, can read and write Braille, I am Orientation and Mobility trained but not licensed, and I have a large vocabulary of signs but I am not a proficient signer. I have worked with autistic, traumatic brain injured, cerebral palsy, battens disease, charge syndrome, deaf blind, blind, low vision, bi-polar and much more.
