My name is Terri. I am 29 and I live in South Glens Falls. I am a former mental health technician for the Air Force. While I have had many jobs before, my first love is children and being a nanny. I enjoy children and pets without being in a business setting. I love being a nanny because I can enjoy the families that I work for on both a personal and a professional level, which is why I continue to have great relationships with the families that I no longer work for. I think it is important for children to be comfortable and familiar with the person that is taking care of them and not have to learn the rules and personalities of different nannies. A nanny should be a friend and caregiver, fun, safe, friendly, responsible and have a good head on her shoulders. I have years of experience working with kids of all ages and I have been baby-sitting for about 16 years (my first full time baby-sitting opportunity was with a 6-month-old). I am very good with children and I am also an animal lover. I believe that fun and educational activities are key aspects in raising a well rounded child which is why I love taking kids on field trips to the park, library, museums, etc., but also doing rewarding and fun activities around the house. I have a dog (Pug) that all kids seem to love when I bring him, with permission of course, or even baby-sitting at my own home if you would like a night in. I am married. I have a beautiful little boy, own my home, am a non-smoker, responsible, have excellent references, and have reliable and safe transportation. Also, I love to clean and take care of pets so if you are in need of a well rounded nanny, then I am the right person for both full-time and part-time care. I am very responsible and protective of the children that I am caring for and I am ultimately hoping to find the right family to baby-sit, clean, and pet-sit for consistently and for years to come.
