I am a mother of four children ~ two daughters (adults now) and twin boys (10 years old with special needs) ~ and NaNa to two grandchildren :-). I resigned for working full time to raise and care for my boys when they were born at 29 weeks. I have cared for multiple children of neighbors and friends to help out off and on over the past 11 years. I went back to work three years ago working for the school district supporting children who require a highly specialized and intensive program due to disabilities - strengths , medical challenges and severe behavioral challenges. I have enjoyed the opportunity, experience and connections it has provided but, I am on a quest to find a position where I can still work with children, and be available for my own children when they need me.

I would like to take this opportunity to discuss my availability - my boys get on the bus each morning at 7:45 a.m. I will need to get them safely off to school before I could arrive at your home. I would be happy to care for your child/children at my home if the need for earlier hours are desired. If the care is taking place in your home, I would need to be back at my home by 3:00 p.m. to see my boys home safely from school. I could bring your child/children to my home to continuing the care until you are free to pick up. During school breaks (summer and holidays), half days or if my boys are ill, I would need to care for your child/children at my home.
