Hello, my name is Telysa. I am a single mother of a 2-year-old, that I hope will able to join your child as a playmate. I am attending school to get a bachelor's in Psychology. I would love to work with children of domestic violence. I have cared for as many as 6 children at a time, ages ranging from 3 months old to 12 years old (one family). I have cared for two sets of twins ages 3 months to 2 years of age and 9 years of age for occasional care. I love caring for children and watching their personalities grow. A child's attitude and personality usually develops from what they learn from parents and caregivers. I am fully aware of this and love the way my daughter reflects me! Some caregivers are forgetting the importance of teaching and reinforcing mannerisms and respect! I assure you this is not the case! Children also need to be mentally stimulated, I love finding new ways for a child to learn, since every child learns differently. Let's cooperate and find some age appropriate activities that you would like for your child to partake in!

I am CPR/first aid certified.
I know and teach American Sign Language.
I love helping the families, so after a hard day of work they can kick back and enjoy their children and their home knowing they have had a safe, fun, and constructive day.
I can help with tasks around the house such as laundry, trash and light housework!
I have taken many courses in early childcare and development, behavior issues, and social development.
I have 5 years experience as a nanny!
I love children, being a nanny and support system for a family. I have past experience as a Lactation Consultant and a Sign Language teacher at a day care.

From 2004 to 2012 I was an occasional sitter for 6 children.
Their ages ranged from 3 months to 9 years old at the start of working with them.

From 2006 to 2009 I was a nanny for two children from 6 weeks to 3 years old, A. was 2 years old when her baby brother T. was born. I stayed with them another year, until they moved.

From 2008 to 2010 I was an occasional sitter for twin girls, aged 8 when I started.

In 2010-2011 I was a full time nanny for a little boy
I started as a mom's helper during pregnancy then stayed until the baby was 8 months when she started daycare.

Right now I am an occasional sitter for a 2-year-old.
