My mother has been in the childcare business for about 19 years. The majority of her care-giving has been an at home business. I was an only child for 13 years, but I was always around children. I have plenty of experience with children of any age. I am also used to caring for multiple children at once. (My mother's daycare is allowed 8 children, at once). I have never gotten paid to help my mom with her business, but I helped her because I love caring for children. Not only do I have experience from my mother's daycare, but I also have experience being the family and neighborhood babysitter. I have a 6-year-old brother, so I have done my fair share of caring for him (since he was born). I also have several cousins and family friends that I tend for, occasionally. I am also experienced with managing household duties, while attending to children. I feel I am good at taking care of children, because I have a passion for it. Eight months ago, my husband and I were blessed with a beautiful baby boy. My experience as a mother has been amazing so far, and I'm excited for the future.
