I have been babysitting since I was in middle school. My senior year of high school, I babysat every day after school for a family of three stepbrothers, ages 6-9, and a baby girl. I have also worked at two different day cares for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years.

Starting in August 2010, I began working as a nanny for a family full-time in the summer and part-time during the school year. The boys I was a nanny for are currently ages 8 and 11. I became very close with the family and I loved my job so much. I love those boys and consider them family. I graduated from Northwestern University in Chicago in June 2012 and I am now living in Santa Cruz. I miss the family I nanny for terribly, but I am very excited for this new chapter of my life.

I absolutely love working with children. There really is nothing I would rather do. I graduated with a major in psychology and a minor in Spanish. I am especially interested in developmental psychology and eventually I hope to pursue a career in psychology research.

I absolutely love the outdoors. I feel so fortunate to be living in such a beautiful part of the country, with the forest and the ocean always available as my playground. Besides playing outside, I love to read and play music. I also really enjoy arts and crafts and have recently started carving my own rubber stamps. I'm very creative, imaginative, and playful.
