I have been babysitting since I was 13 years old. My first job was watching my 5-year-old cousin for about two hours every Saturday while his mother worked Saturday mornings. In addition, I worked for a neighbor, and watched her two daughters and son, ages four, seven, and nine while she worked evenings. I was responsible to keep them entertained, prepare meals, and put them to bed. I did this at age 15. At age 16, I babysat my two cousins, ages 1 year and three years. I watched them Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. I was responsible to keep them entertained, provide healthy, adequate meals, change diapers, and provide a safe and fun environment. Throughout the rest of high school and college, I have babysat, on occasion, for friends, family, and acquaintances. In addition, I worked at Wolf Furniture as a store babysitter for 11 months. I love children, and am attending Penn State Harrisburg, in order to work with children that have been abused or experienced some type of trauma. I also love photography, nature, scrap booking, and writing!
