My name is Tara. I am a non-smoking Registered Nurse and an infant care specialist. I have had over 13 years nursing experience with the majority of my career being spent in the neonatal ICU taking care of the premature infants and special needs babies as well as in the newborn nursery with the well babies. I have been working as a nanny since July of 2012. I have cared for several age groups. I am looking to join a family as their nanny/household manager long-term, to grow with the child/children. I have experience being a nanny for premature quadruplets in their home providing exceptional care all while maintaining the infants laundry, sterilizing bottles, trash, kitchen clean-up, sanitizing toys and play equipment, etc. I have provided them all with one-on-one play time and developmental teaching and moving toward reaching age appropriate developmental milestones. I also have experience with toddlers as I have been a nanny for a 16-month-old little girl since she was 7 months old and 2 little boys, ages 4 and 2. In my early adulthood I was a YMCA camp counselor for the youth group, ages 8-16 years. I believe in engaging children in outdoor activities, arts and crafts, music play, reading, dancing, board games, anything fun! I also love field trips! If I have your permission of course, I would love to take the kids to the zoo, the adventure science center, to the park, or summer is coming, how about the swimming pool! I have my own safe, reliable vehicle. I also love to get down and dirty with washable finger paint. I am First Aid and CPR certified. In addition to being an exceptional nanny, I can offer light housekeeping and cooking. Additional household/errands/personal assistant duties can be negotiated. I understand your children are your most precious assets.
