Hello, my name is Tanya. I am a 35-year-old mom of 3, ages 12, 9 and 7! I have worked in the healthcare field for 13 plus years. Before my current job as the office manager in a chiropractor's office I co-owned/operated a home daycare with a friend. At the time, the daycare was based at her house and unfortunately, we had to dissolve the partnership when she moved back to Mississippi.

I have a great love for children and have been taking care of children since I was 13 years old. I have a lot of experience in taking care of up to 6 children at a time, including 2 of which were infants!

As an experienced caregiver, both formally and as a mom, I have the ability to cope with kids with many different types of personalities and needs. I am also an expert at not only playing games and having fun with the little ones but teaching them while we are playing (but don't tell them that!).

I am currently looking for a position in which I can take care of and nurture a child/children in a loving and peaceful environment. Although I can take care of children of all ages I am partial to infants through toddler years as the developmental stage is the most exciting and important to me!

As for my family, my children are full time students now and are thriving both academically as well as socially. All 3 are A students who have been recognized in their schools for the academic and citizenship achievements! They are also active in extra-curricular activities/sports such as: soccer, student council, Mathletix, swimming and the TriM National Music Honor Society. I am a very proud mommy!!

My personal philosophy for raising children is structure, consistency, teaching them respect for themselves and others, teaching them to take pride in their school work and any extra-curricular activities that pursue. I found that teaching these values to my children, as well as those I have taken care of, has made them loving, well behaved, respectful children who love to learn as well as play!!
