I am a mom to 2 beautiful little girls ages 4 and 6. I was a nanny in Philadelphia for almost 10 years. I still keep in touch with both families I worked for. They are part of my family now and always will be. I never considered taking care of these families a job. I enjoyed spending time with them. I loved their children like they were my own. I did everything with them. I took them to school and to doctor appointments. I loved to read them books and take them to the park. We went to museums and I took them to see shows like Disney On Ice. I set up play dates with other parents so that the children would meet new kids. The last family I worked for traveled a lot. I had many overnights. I also did weekends for them when they just wanted to get away. I loved working as a nanny. When I started my last nanny position they had a 2-year-old and was expecting a little boy. I must say, I really loved those boys and still do! I also graduated from nursing school in 1994. I have not worked since my children were born. I am so looking forward to getting back to working as a nanny. Some people may ask why would I work as a nanny when I have 2 little ones myself. I consider this my profession. This is what I love to do. I have lots of family that my kids love spending time with. They need time away from their mommy to bond with their grandparents. This also gives me the chance to make a good living and provide well for my own children. I am married to a wonderful man and I was blessed with 2 beautiful daughters. My husband works 3 to 11 so he would be home for my kids in the morning and early afternoon. I am very reliable and trustworthy. I am looking forward to getting back to the profession I love.
