I am a licensed child care provider. I have a 4 1/2year-old and 6 1/2-year-old of my own. Being licensed by the State of Colorado, I have my background check (CBI and FBI), CPR, and First Aid certification, universal precautions, and medication administration certificates. I also have my B. A. in child and adolescent development, certificate in Montessori, teaching for newborns to 3-years-old, ongoing training, and I am a member of the Adams County Association of Family Child Care. I have been working with children from newborn to 12 years old for 19 years as a babysitter, after school care, preschool lead teacher and Montessori lead toddler teacher. We take walks to the park, do art, preschool program, and music with Rhythm and Rhyme Tyme (twice a month in my home). I would love to meet you and your child. My hours are 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. I am flexible with the time in the evenings. My home is safe and smoke free. We almost never travel anywhere by car. For the infants, I hold, sing to them, give them tummy and floor time, play with them, give them sensory experiences, art when they can sit up well, teach colors, shapes, sounds, textures, and basic sign language, play music and simple baby games, take them for walks, outdoor time on a blanket, bouncer, and holding, and explore their world with them. We have a good-sized backyard, nutritious meals, lots of interactive toys, arts, crafts, cooking, group time (letters and their sounds, numbers, colors, some Spanish and sign language, calendar, weather, music, etc.). Preschool program is from September to June for ages 2 1/2 to 5 years old (I modified the program for younger children and for advanced children). My rates are not per hour, they are per day or per week. I have one opening for a child 2 years old and over. Sorry, I do not transport to or from school.
