I respect your guidelines and do things your way. I record all of the child's meals, bottles, naps and progress for your review. I prefer to care for one infant at a time, providing tailored care as you wish. There are always exceptions. I am also available for you with short notice. I am certified in CPR and First Aid for infants, toddlers and adults. I keep my head in an emergency situation. I am a mature and reliable nanny. I have great success with teaching self feeding skills, the potty and language development as well. I connect with kids. I am firm, but gentle and kind. I love to get them outside for fresh air everyday. I will explain each and every step I make to your child, they like to know what is next. No snatching things out of their hands, in most cases an offered choice is the best way around that. I will always treat your child with respect. There is lots of high chair time, we are at eye level, with music on and in no hurry. I have found this to be a great place to learn and to connect for lots of communication, no baby talk. I have some sign language skills. I get on the floor and play trucks, read, dance, laugh and color. There is no cell phone, no soap operas, no boyfriends coming over. I am here to care for your most precious cargo, your child. I am open to learning new skills and will follow your instructions to the letter. When in doubt, I will do it the old fashioned grandma way, until you decide how it should be done.
