Susan is an amazing child care provider! I started out as a mom who was extremely nervous to leave her child with anyone other than family. I was heartbroken to have to go back to work and leave my daughter after being home with her for a year. However, we found Susan and all my fears and apprehensions were relieved. Susan not only helped my daughter with separation anxiety but she helped me with separation anxiety as well! She started watching my daughter and another little boy when they were both 14 months old (they are both now 2 years old). She joined our nanny share and has been a great extension to both of our families. Because of the nanny share, she is used to working with two sets of parents (which is not always easy) and being flexible around each of our schedules. We were so lucky to find Susan and got more than we ever expected. Every day she has a new "lesson plan", activity, craft, or educational activity to do with the kids. She is constantly teaching them, colors, shapes, numbers, alphabet, words, manners, sharing, songs, exercises, etc. She loves to take them outside so they can learn from a variety of surroundings. She also surprises us with cute pictures and text messages of the kids throughout the day, helping make my time away from my daughter more at ease. My daughter has learned so much in the past year simply because of Susan. She is absolutely a natural with kids; she is one of 10 kids and has over 27 nieces and nephews. She just knows what to do with kids and we often ask for her advice or recommendations on things regarding the children. She never puts the kids in front of the TV and isn't the kind of nanny that is on her phone all day long. She takes her job very seriously and when she is with the children, she is focused on loving and caring for the children, their safety, their education and how much fun they all have together. I honestly don't think she has ever been late as she is very timely, responsible, reliable, and punctual. She is very mature for her age but also can get down and dirty with the kids. She is very good at positive reinforcement with the children and they talk about her when she is not around, they simply love her and respect her. Over the past year, Susan has become a dear friend of ours and I 'm so, so, so sad to be losing her. I just hope we can find another nanny just like her. You can 't put a price on the type of care she gives the children, she is just so good with them. You won 't go wrong with contacting her.
