I have been sitting in my home for over 10+ yrs. I have been very loyal to the families that I have sat for & I have only had one family at a time, so that their children had all of the attention that is required. Making sure that children are cared for with fun, games, stories, or even make-believe is very important to me as well as good communication with the parents.
Life can be very hectic sometimes in everyday tasks when it comes to children, so I have helped out with whatever activities, play-dates, doctor appointments that might be necessary. I do have my own transportation & insurance, so this is not a problem.
My family are animal lovers! We have two dogs, so I realize that some homes have that responsibility to go along with children.
